Kalusugan Para sa Lahat

The "Kalusugan Para sa Lahat" program in Sitio Maamot, Tarlac City, is a community-based health initiative aimed at addressing the healthcare needs of residents in this rural area. Sitio Maamot is characterized by limited access to healthcare facilities and resources, making it challenging for residents to obtain essential medical services. In response to these challenges, the "Kalusugan Para sa Lahat" program was launched to improve health outcomes and promote well-being among community members.

Events

In January 2023, UNILAB hosted a Flu Vaccination Drive on the 20th and 25th to emphasize preventive healthcare for its employees and their families. Organized by a team from FEU-NRMF, the event aimed to vaccinate about 500 participants. It involved faculty from Radiologic Technology, a Nursing professional, a representative from the Community and Family Medicine Department, and two members from the Office of Community Engagement, ensuring minimal disruption to work schedules.

On January 19, 2023, Barangay Graceville hosted the "Healthy Mommy, Healthy Baby" seminar, focusing on the importance of activity during pregnancy for third-trimester expectant mothers. The event was led by faculty from the School of Physical Therapy and the School of Nutrition and Dietetics, with support from students and interns from the School of Physical Therapy, as well as junior interns from the Community and Family Medicine Department. The seminar aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle for both mothers and their babies.

The Feast of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo, Manila, on January 9, 2023, hosted the Walk of Faith 2023, bringing together faith, health, and community service with collaboration from FEU-NRMF, UNILAB, RiteMed, and the Red Cross. The FEU-NRMF team, including professionals from Radiologic Technology, Nursing, Family Medicine, and Community Engagement, provided essential medical assistance and comprehensive healthcare services.
