Kalusugan Para sa Lahat

The "Kalusugan Para sa Lahat" program in Sitio Maamot, Tarlac City, is a community-based health initiative aimed at addressing the healthcare needs of residents in this rural area. Sitio Maamot is characterized by limited access to healthcare facilities and resources, making it challenging for residents to obtain essential medical services. In response to these challenges, the "Kalusugan Para sa Lahat" program was launched to improve health outcomes and promote well-being among community members.

Events

From May 8 to 11, 2023, FEU-NRMF initiated a comprehensive Community-Based Program in Sitio Magnolia 1, 2, 3, Lotus, Darisnai, and Narcisus, addressing health, environmental, and social needs through eight initiatives. Faculty from various departments, members from the Office of Community Engagement, interns, and first-year students from the School of Medical Laboratory Science collaborated to implement these initiatives, including B.E.A.T, 2X, Maglinis, P.R.O.T.E.C.T, Angat Kumunidad, B.A.G.O.N.G 3PS, Palarong Pampamilya at Pangkalusugan, and S.P.A.R.K.L.E.

Barangay Manresa hosted "Operation Tuli" on April 29, 2023, supported by FEU-NRMF, INYO, and the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians Quezon City Chapter, offering complimentary circumcision services to male children. The event's success was attributed to the collaborative efforts of a diverse medical team, including interns from Obstetrics and Gynecology, professionals from Community and Family Medicine, and students from the Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine, along with support from the Office of Community Engagement.

From March 21 to April 29, 2023, a Public Health Nutrition Program focused on children under 12, offering nutritional assessment screenings and cooking demonstrations to promote balanced diets. Led by FEU-NRMF faculty and interns, over 50 children and their mothers received tailored nutrition plans. Similarly, the April 14, 2023, RT Week Community Outreach Program provided therapeutic support and social interaction for persons with disabilities (PWDs) and children in therapy.
