27 February 2024, Khon Kaen, Thailand- The Far Eastern University- Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF)’s School of Medicine has secured a remarkable victory in the 2024 Khon Kaen University International Challenge of
Emergency Medicine (KKU ICEM) Surgical Trauma Competition, proudly claiming the esteemed title amidst stiff global competition.

KKU ICEM stands as a pinnacle event in the realm of emergency medicine, drawing the best and brightest medical students from across the globe to compete for the coveted recognition as the forefront of emergency medical expertise.

In an exhilarating display of skill, determination, and innovation, the FEU-NRMF School of Medicine team surpassed 23 other competing teams to etch their name in history as the champions of the Surgical Trauma Competition. This remarkable feat not only signifies their exceptional proficiency in emergency medicine but also marks a significant milestone as the first non-Thai champions in 9 years, further cementing their status as trailblazers in the field.
