Kalusugan Para sa Lahat

The "Kalusugan Para sa Lahat" program in Sitio Maamot, Tarlac City, is a community-based health initiative aimed at addressing the healthcare needs of residents in this rural area. Sitio Maamot is characterized by limited access to healthcare facilities and resources, making it challenging for residents to obtain essential medical services. In response to these challenges, the "Kalusugan Para sa Lahat" program was launched to improve health outcomes and promote well-being among community members.

Events

"Zumba Lilit," a health program promoting active living, occurred in Barangay West Fairview. It introduced Zumba to combat sedentary lifestyles and fostered healthier living in Sitio Magnolia, Darisnai, and Lotus. The initiative, led by representatives from the School of Medical Laboratory Science, Office of Community Engagement, Community and Family Medicine, and Medicine student volunteers, received support from five interns from the Office of Community Engagement.

FEU-NRMF launched a relief effort on July 14, 2023, in West Fairview, Quezon City, aiding 70 families devastated by a fire on Jaguar Street. This initiative brought together a diverse team from the School of Medical Laboratory Science, Physical Therapy, Radiologic Technology, and the Office of Community Engagement, with support from student volunteers across disciplines, to deliver aid and support to the affected families.

The Capacity Building and Oath-Taking Ceremony for new community leaders in Sitio Magnolia 1, 2, 3, and Darisnai was held on June 26, 2023, focusing on initiatives related to health, livelihood, and the Hapag Asa Feeding program.
