In the 2023 World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI) Rankings, the Far Eastern University – Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF) ranked 56th in the Global Top 100 Innovative Universities and 1st among higher education institutions (HEI) in the country. 
 
This is the highest ranking a Philippine HEI has achieved since the inception of WURI. That distinction was previously held by the Far Eastern University which placed 74th in 2022. WURI recognizes colleges and universities for contributions to society, highlighting creative and innovative approaches to research and educational programs based on six categories: Industrial Application, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Ethical Value, Student Mobility and Openness, Crisis Management, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
